Are there any knitters out there?

I have been doing dish cloth "knit alongs" {KAL} for about 5 years now. I find them to be a lot of fun and look forward to the next days post. This is a knit along where you don't get to see an actual picture of what you are knitting until the last week... All you need for this is a pair of size 3 staright needles & one skein of "Lily Sugar & Cream" in any solid "Spring" color. No need to sign-up...just play along at your own pace.

Day One:
co 47s

(k1, p1) to last stitch, k1 repeat for 6 rows

row 1: (k1,p1) 2x, K to last 4s, (p1,k1)

row 2: (k1,p1)x2, p39, (p1,k1)x2

row 3: (k1,p1) 2x, K to last 4s, (p1,k1)

row 4: (k1,p1)x2, p6, k10, p19, k3, p1 , (p1,k1)x2

row 5: (k1,p1) 2x, K to last 4s, (p1,k1)

row 6: (k1,p1)x2, p1, k18, p6, k13, p1, (p1,k1)x2

row 7: (k1,p1) 2x, K to last 4s, (p1,k1)

row 8: (k1,p1)x2, p1, k6, p8, k21, p3, (p1,k1)x2

row 9: (k1,p1) 2x, K to last 4s, (p1,k1)

row 10: (k1,p1)x2, p5, k1, p12, k8, p7, k1, p5, (p1,k1)x2

Happy Knitting!!!

  1. Sounds like fun to not know the exact outcome and to see the pattern come together. I have been knitting lots. I have too many projects on the go... baby afghan, hats for charity, scarves for charity and a dog sweater to finish. I learned how to knit socks last winter with my sister, Susan. I also learned how to crochet and am in the middle of a granny square afghan. I am forever knitting dishcloths, as they are the only ones I use. Hope you are doing well. Happy to see you blogging again. :)
